Our achievements

This mandate carried out by Altanergy's experts aimed to conduct an energy study of the Réjean-Houle and Jacques Laperrière arenas in Rouyn-Noranda. The main objective was to develop grant applications to several programs, including Énergir, TEQ, and Hydro-Québec, in order to maximize funding for the study. Subsequently, detailed on-site surveys were conducted, followed by a thorough analysis of the existing plans and systems in the arenas. The study also included a techno-economic analysis aimed at identifying the best opportunities to reduce the energy consumption of the facilities.

This mandate concluded with the presentation of an energy audit report detailing the proposed measures, their costs, the savings, and the available grants. This report served as a decision-making tool for the municipal council to properly guide them in the investments to be made to improve the energy performance of its facilities.
