Our achievements

This mandate, carried out by Altanergy's experts, aimed to conduct an energy efficiency study at the Goodyear plant in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. More specifically, the project aimed to submit grant applications for the study and optimize the plant's energy resources. The project included the replacement of the cooling tower and chiller, as well as the installation of heat pumps and an air preheating network.

Analyses were conducted to assess the feasibility of radiant heating in the warehouses and the decentralization of the boiler room with the installation of new electric boilers and the relocation of the cooling tower. Altanergy also worked on optimizing the grant applications. The strategic recommendations made and the results of the analyses contributed to the improvement of the plant's energy management.
