Our achievements

The project to replace the outdoor boiler system for the General Mills facility in Saint-Hyacinthe involved the revision and improvement of the initial design. This project aimed to replace the existing heating system with two shipping containers placed outside—one containing two Miura boilers and the other housing a Miura boiler along with their shared components. To complete this mandate, Altanergy Group conducted a review of the concept and proposed necessary adjustments. In parallel, a separate mandate to carry out an energy efficiency study at the General Mills plant in Montreal was undertaken.

The services provided by Altanergy Group included the analysis of energy bills, an on-site visit to perform surveys, a techno-economic analysis of the plant’s energy consumption reduction opportunities, as well as the presentation of an energy efficiency study report.
