REFRIGERATION
Design and Supervision of the Chiller Replacement at the ice rink
The Saint-Côme-Linière arena project involved replacing the existing R-22 refrigeration system with a new system using CO₂, a more environmentally friendly refrigerant. Related work included replacing the heat recovery devices and installing a new refrigeration mat. The design and integration of the associated electromechanical systems, such as ventilation, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection, were also carried out as part of the project.
The project earned the general manager an award from the Association of General Managers of Quebec the year after its completion.
