Our achievements

The City of Ville-Marie commissioned our team for the complete modernization of the municipal ice rink’s refrigeration system. The project included the dismantling of the old ammonia-based system, followed by the design and installation of a new, safer, high-performance, and sustainable system, in compliance with RBQ recommendations.

The work involved installing a chiller unit and an adiabatic condenser, connecting to the existing distribution network, and converting the brine system to ethylene glycol to reduce corrosion risks. The mandate also included implementing heat recovery solutions to provide heating for the under-slab system, domestic hot water, and the main arena space.

To ensure optimal commissioning, the project included the supply and installation of a prefabricated mechanical room, fully equipped to house and control all refrigeration and energy recovery systems.
